Fees, Insurance, and Location

What do you charge?

Individual Therapy (45-50 minutes): $225

Payment will be collected at the end of each session. Visa and Mastercard are accepted and will be kept on file through my secure portal.

Do you take insurance?

I am not in-network with insurance companies at this time.

Your insurance plan may provide some reimbursement on an out-of-network basis. To help, I can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Although you may find my name listed as an in-network provider for certain insurances, this information is no longer current.  Insurance companies can be slow to update their provider lists.

How do I find out what my insurance will cover?

To find out what your insurance may cover, contact your insurance and ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage.

You may also want to mention the type of license that I have to ensure services with my type of credential are covered. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker..

Other things you may want to ask about are:

  • What your deductible is

  • What your co-insurance payment will be

  • How many visits you get per year

  • If you need authorization for your visits

  • Details on how to submit a superbill

Contact me if you would like more guidance on how to figure out what your insurance will cover.

Where are you located?

6917 Arlington Road, Suite 224, Bethesda, MD 20814.

My office is in a mixed retail building located just off of Bradley Blvd., adjacent to CVS and Big Wheel Bikes. There is street parking on Bradley Blvd, as well as a private garage situated to the rear of the building, near the Capital Crescent Trail. It is a 10 minute walk from the Bethesda metro and the Bethesda Circulator stops right in front of the building. Before our first appointment, I will email you detailed instructions about how to find me.

Do you provide online therapy?

Yes! I provide sessions via Zoom and phone on request for residents of Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Florida.

Online therapy is safe and effective. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about online therapy, just reach out.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask that clients cancel at least 48 hours before their scheduled appointment to allow me to offer the slot to others that may need it. The entire session fee will be charged if less than 48 hours notice is given. However, clients are able to use my online scheduler to see if I have other openings that week. If you are able to re-schedule, I will only charge you for the session I see you.
